Here we interpret high resolution airborne magnetic data in order to obtain a surface of basements top in Jequitinhonha basin.

Why is it important?

We observed a close relationship of hydrocarbon seepage with the tectonic framework of the basement. The Ilheus transferzone is a major trend of oil seepage in Jequitinhonha basin.
