What is it about?
We propose the LSADD method, which sets a division point to divide the logarithmic spectral area difference (LSAD) into two parts and utilizes their difference to estimate the Q factor. Multiple division points are then selected and the obtained Q values are averaged to yield a final estimate, thereby improving noise robustness. Numerical experiments and comparative analysis clarify the benefits of our method, and field data processing indicates that this method can effectively estimate the Q factor.
