A separable strong-anisotropy approximation for pure qP-wave propagation in transversely isotropic media

What is it about?

Pseudo-acoustic P-wave propagation approximations are important for seismic migration without crosstalk between wave types. We have developed a new approximation that is valid for quite strong anisotropy.
