What is it about?

The paper proposes a means of determining the optimum line spacing for a magnetic survey, given the height above sources. It exploits the sampling theorem and the concept of aliasing .

Why is it important?

It is the first (and so far the only widely-accepted) discussion of the topic, exploiting the Sampling Theorem and Spector & Grant's "Expectation Power Spectrum".

Perspectives

Its only a "Short Note", but its possibly my most important publication.
