What is it about?
Multiple internal reflections are known as the main coherent noise in seismic reflection data. This noise affects the interpretation of the physical properties of the subsurface and generates artifacts during data processing. In this work, we present a tool capable of treating these noises and eliminating their presence, increasing the signal/noise ratio of the data.

Why is it important?
Subsurface images have helped to find sources of hydrocarbons so important to humanity. For this reason, the development of tools to improve the quality of these images is so important and essential for the hydrocarbon industry. This work presents a tool capable of eliminating multiple internal reflections, which are coherent noises that affect image quality.
