What is it about?
Stick insects have been reported as pests of timber forests and food crops for over a century. This paper reviews the worldwide status of stick insects as pests, and reviews explanations given for outbreaks. The conditions required for outbreaks to happen are modified from historical Australian perspectives to a global scale.
