What is it about?
Guidelines suggest teens should be active for 50% of physical education lesson time (of a moderate or vigorous intensity). Reviewing all available data, we found the proportion of time in this type of activity was 40.5%.

Why is it important?
Physical Education is one of the clearest opportunities for adolescents to engage in physical activity. In order to achieve the recommended 60 minutes a day physical activity, we need strategies to make lessons more active.
