Why is it important?

Since the majority of people in the world live in these countries, it should follow that the majority of clinical trials address the problems that they experience. Of course the opposite is the case. Should a trial be conducted in a developing country, it is important to know what the barriers to successful conduct are so they can be addressed prospectively.

Perspectives

This is really important work in terms of developing high quality, equitable health care in the two thirds world.
