Why is it important?
This paper informs us about the respective viewpoints of older adults, caregivers and healthcare providers regarding the met and unmet needs of participation in daily and social activities. Our results show that older adults' most unmet needs involve activities most associated with health and well-being, including leisure, community life, interpersonal relationships, as well as fitness and mobility. It leads to several recommandations to healthcare providers, policymakers, and researchers.
