What is it about?
We compared the genomes and proteomes of rhizobia from seeds and from soil or only nodules. We were searching characteristics to distinguish both groups. We found some functions enriched in the genomes of seed rhizobia. Also, some proteins were found overexpressed.

Why is it important?
We want to know how the bacteria can populate their hosts. Also, we want to enrich the amount of beneficial bacteria inside the seeds and use them as autoinoculated crop.
