What is it about?
In this review, authors propose that Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is not a single disease but a clinical syndrome (COPDs) characterized by chronic respiratory symptoms, structural pulmonary abnormalities and/or lung function impairment that results from the interaction of different environmental and genetic factors. They also discuss a potential new taxonomy of COPDs.
