The ambition of the ERJ: chapter 3

What is it about?

As the title suggests, this is the third New Year “ambition” editorial of the current 5-year European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) editorial cycle. As we approach the half-way point, it is time not only to look back at 2014, but also to take stock of what has been achieved in the past 2 years and to set the agenda for what is still to be done. This article reviews the objectives set in the previous editorials and looks at some of the exceptional articles published in the ERJ in 2014.
