What is it about?
This is an introduction to the life and work of the Argentine artist Norah Borges (1901-1998), a text prepared for the special issue devoted to her. The emphasis falls on Norah Borge's activity in the avant-garde followed by her own particular 'return to order' in conjunction with modern writers and artists in Spain, where she visited or lived for extended periods before the Spanish Civil War.
