What is it about?

We replicated 28 psychology studies across many labs around the world. Each study was repeated in 60+ labs (36 countries, 15,000 participants) and we looked at whether results changed depending on the population under study or the lab set up (e.g., in-lab vs online, language). Overall, 14/28 studies replicated successfully (i.e. the replication findings were similar to the findings from the original study). Furthermore, study results were mostly consistent across locations, suggesting sample and population did not play a large role in whether a finding replicated.
