What is it about?
Shame is a notorious emotion. We found that those who score higher on mindfulness and self-compassion scales experience shame less frequently. Also, we suggested that mindfulness increased the level of self-compassion which significantly impacted shame.

Our findings show that self-compassion is a stronger predictor of shame and more relevant to the experience of shame.
