What is it about?
It’s time to set the record straight. The Millennials are not lazy. They do not value work any less than older generations do. Our results do not support the claim, widespread in popular media, that the Millennials and their distinctive characteristics will be forcing work organizations into radical changes.

Why is it important?
The data set at our disposal is unique and comprehensive spanning three full decades. Cross-sectional studies often explain attitudes to work by reference to age rather than generation. Here, by contrast, we compared the attitudes of people representing different generations when they were the same age in the early stages of their employment careers.
