What is it about?
In this review, we discuss what is currently known about subsets of patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) who have greater than expected clinical response to the available therapies. We examine the results of landmark clinical trials in PAH, as well as early research into "personalized" or "precision" medicine, using a patient's molecular profile to better understand their response to treatment. We summarize with a discussion on what is currently known, and future directions for "precision medicine" in PAH.
