What is it about?
Pharmacy students, when permitted to give immunizations, can improve public health outcomes by increasing the number of vaccines given. Patients who receive this service are very satisfied.

Vaccination rates in many countries are still below target numbers. Increasing accessibility to vaccines by making them available from pharmacists is one approach that has been used to increase numbers. Pharmacy students can be part of these initiatives as well.
