This paper presents a new configuration of parallel robot that can be used for ankle rehabilitation.

Why is it important?

The developed robot, as an alternative solution for traditional ankle rehabilitation, provides more accurate movements with respect to the range of motion of patient‘s joints.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great opportunity for me to collaborate with pioneer research teams working in this field for many years. This paper made by collaboration of University of Birmingham, University Collge London, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and West Midland Rehabilitation Centre.
