Why is it important?
Dementia is one of the most wide-spread health conditions affecting older people. It's hard to care for within existing models of health care. It requires support for the activities of daily living besides therapeutic support, all of which get harder as the condition progresses. This makes it important to learn from people with dementia themselves, and their carers, when designing support services.
