Why is it important?
Most exciting is the consistent increase in the journal’s 5-year impact factor as well as the annual impact factor, over the three time periods for which data were available. Manuscript submissions have quadrupled over the last three years and OTJR has accepted 32% of the submitted or peer-reviewed manuscripts.
Perspectives
We continue to be grateful for the many contributions of our national and international scholars and scientists in occupational therapy and beyond. The editorial board and I are looking forward to 2018 as a year where we continue to advance our journal according to its mission, while also furthering the science of occupational therapy, and its dynamic relationships to health and participation!
