The results demonstrated that applying LAMG dressings once weekly in addition to standard care promotes wound healing compared to standard care alone. It appears that adding LAMG created an extra protective barrier over ulcers while also enhancing the regeneration process. 17 Patients receiving LAMG plus standard care showed significantly faster wound closure and greater reduction in ulcer size over the 9-week study period compared to those receiving standard care alone.
