Housing and care for dementia

What is it about?

This paper discusses the changing field of housing and care for the elderly in the Netherlands and what this means for the housing of older persons suffering from dementia, who are no longer able to live independently. It presents and compares various projects from different times and with different scales. Similarities and dissimilarities with developments in the United States are discussed briefly as well. The paper also presents topics for further research.
