What is it about?

Endovascular peripheral arterial interventions have high failure rates and high re-intervention rates. Endovascular technology including wires, drugs and devices are quickly evolving but physicians have limited information to guide their selection. Plaque morphology will influence the success rates of different endovascular treatments. This article discusses how physicians can use plaque morphology to guide their endovascular peripheral arterial interventions to enodvascular treatment strategies to their individual patient.
