What is it about?
The goal of our study was to examine how the accumulation of precarious job features predicts receipt of a disability pension in an eight-year follow-up period. Poor employability prospects in particular predict receiving a disability pension.

Why is it important?
If an individual feels he/she has poor chances of finding a new job in the open labour market, this anxiety may be a potential stressor impairing health and work ability.
