What is it about?

Negative cognitions have long been known to play a part in the development of PTSD, but have only recently been officially acknowledged as PTSD symptoms. Little is known about the existence and content of negative cogntions in refugees. In this paper we present the outcomes of the World Assumptions Scale in treatment-seeking refugees, and how these outcomes compare to outcomes in other traumatized and general populations.
