A methodology for the search of specific enzyme targets for drug development against L. major

What is it about?

This report refers to a bioinformatic approach dedicated to the search of protein targets specific to a parasite (L. major) given its host (H. sapiens) in the enzyme space. The selection process is based on enzymatic commission numbers (EC) and show the care that must be given to avoid as much as possible interferences from false positives.
