What is it about?

The paper shows the design and optimization process of an excitation device able to operate in a wide frequency range (up to 10000Hz). The device is really compact and can be used for dynamic characterization of mechanical components. A prototype of the designed device was also machined and tested to demonstrate the specifcation fullfilment.
