The study gives the landscape of studies from 1997 to 2023 covering 25 years and the articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. The study is important to understand why are the motives which help the investors invest in equity derivatives

The study is important to understand the existing body of knowledge. Furthermore, the study will be useful to future researchers to understand the motives. The study will also be useful to the financial advisors as they will be able to understand what are the motives for investors and what are NOT.
