What is it about?

At a common surgery to overcome coronary artery occlusion a tiny piece of aortic tissue is excised from aorta and usually is thrown away. These leftovers could be efficiently used as a source of aortic smooth muscle cells, which alternatively are obtained from cadavers. Cadavers are not easy to obtain in the laboratory purposes. Thus, this alternative source represents some advantages.
