What is it about?

Two versions of PA was used in the study - a facial and a non-facial PA. It was found that students who used the facial version of PA had higher mathematics scores than the students who used the non-facial PA. It was also found that students in the facial group tend to imitate the happy emotions of the PA for every successful computation.

Why is it important?

It is important because we can adopt the same process of teaching in the actual classroom environment. It is recommended that teachers use positive emotional expressions so that students will feel that they are doing well in the subject.

Perspectives

Showing positive emotions and feedback when students solving problems can help students learn mathematics.
