What is it about?

This case of sudden death in a 13-year-old female Persian cat with a primary cardiomyopathy, presented a left ventricular apical aneurysm within an area of marked myocardial fibrosis and cardiomyocyte atrophy. Similar events have occurred in human beings with cardiomyopathy. This is the first case of left ventricular apical aneurysm in a cat.
