What is it about?

The article defines the concept of intergenerational organizational sustainability based on a study of 19 arts and culture organizations located in the United States. Grounded theory approach is used to devise and explain two interconnected narratives of sustainability - institutional resilience and institutional distinctiveness. The article concludes by discussing the principles of sustainable organizational management that allows reconciling tensions among the two narratives.
