What is it about?

Manual therapy is an effective therapeutic tool in the treatment of degenerative pathologies. We have shown for the first time that manaul therapy can improved the joint bleeding, joint pain, and joint state in patients with hemophilia and ankle arthropathy. This was previously thought impossible as manual therapy can be dangerous in patients with hemophilia. We have used a specific protocol to treat patients with hemophilia.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that the manual therapy in patients with hemophilia can be adjusted over very short time periods and improve physical variables as joint bleeding. Thus, manual therapy is a safety therapeutical option to treat this patients.
