Why is it important?

Our findings show that unstable footwear may be useful as a potential low back pain treatment.

Perspectives

Future research should investigate the long-term effectiveness of this inexpensive treatment option that allows wearers to benefit from the proprioceptive stimuli of training on uneven grounds while performing the activities of normal daily living.
