What is it about?

We randomised on-pump cardiac surgery patients to receive topical tranexamic acid and placebo. The results showed no significant different in volume of bleeding or any complications. We concluded that the sole intravenous tranexamic acid is enough for hemostatic control for on-pump cardiac surgery group.
