What is it about?

This paper aims to help social science researchers imrove their successful engagement with the research ethics process by describing important elements of the process that could also improve the ethics quality of research proposals.

Why is it important?

There has been much critique by social scientists of the ethics review process for social science. This paper takes a pragmatic position to assist social scientists write more ethical research proposals and hopefully experience less frustration with the ethics review process.
