What is it about?
There is an increased interest in the experiences of youth who identify as trans* in order to promote individual human rights and provide socially inclusive health and social care. This scoping review aimed to explore the experiences of youth who identify as trans*. key themes that emerged included: stigma, discrimination and mental health; family relationships and supports; educational concerns; healthcare experiences; and vulnerability and health risks.
