What is it about?
Knowledge sharing is crucial for organizations but employees often do not share their knowledge because they don not realize that others may need their knowledge and/or they do not feel that others may require their help. Why is it important?
Mindfulness increasingly attracts attention in the workplace. We demonstrate that not only the individual employee may profit from being mindful, but also others who receive more knowledge from socially mindful colleagues. Furthermore, we point out that being respectful as a leaders is crucial to trigger social mindfulness in followers.
