What is it about?
We have read with great interest the meta-analysis published in a recent issue in Angiology by Wu et al.[1] We submitted this letter to support the findings of this meta-analysis, re-interpret these findings considering also our articles previously published, including a meta-analysis on arterial stiffness in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases, and to discuss about a potential methodological issue of the meta-analysis published by Wu et al. 1. Why is it important?
Wu et al. have not considered that the studies included in their meta-analysis calculated the cfPWV using different algorithms and path length.
