What is it about?
This research focused on evaluating the Measuring the Quality of Prison Life (MQPL) survey in Serbia, which measures various dimensions of prisoners' well-being. The study involved 650 prisoners in five different prisons. The results indicated that the MQPL survey is a reliable and valid tool for assessing prisoners' quality of life. It identified key aspects central to prisoners' well-being, including harmony, professionalism, and well-being and development. The findings suggest that MQPL is valuable for measuring the quality of life and social climate in prisons, providing insights that can contribute to improving conditions for prisoners.
