What is it about?

The Caprini Risk Score is the most widely used preoperative thrombosis risk assessment, and has been extensively validated in different surgical scenarios. Making the score patient friendly (for the patient i complete) and then broadening it in 3 more languages.

It gives the patient the ability to engage in his care whole completing the risk assessment tool comonly used for thrombosis risk evaluation. It opens the possibilities for speakers of other languages.

Perspectives

This is a practical alternative for the busy physician to have his/her patients engage in preoperative care while completing a score that should anyway be performed.
