What is it about?
The latest edition of the APA's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, DSM-5-TR (text revision) was released in March 2022. It includes a comprehensive updating of the text based on reviews of the literature since 2010, as well as all of the changes made to the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria since publication of DSM-5 in 2013 as a result on the ongoing DSM iterative revision process. It introduces a new disorder, Prolonged Grief Disorder, defined as the continued presence of severe grief symptoms that impair functioning.
