What is it about?
A register based study of more than 3000 substance-induced psychosis cases found a six-year cumulative transition rate to schizophrenia spectrum disorder of 28%, and to bipolar disorder of 5%. The risk of transition to schizophrenia spectrum disorder was higher in men who were young, had repeated emergency admissions, and where the psychosis was induced by cannabis.
