What is it about?
This randomized trial tests an intervention designed to strengthen the peer workforce and its supervision. SHARE! the Self-Help And Recovery Exchange, a peer-run organization, delivered four trainings over 6 months: 1) Strategies for an Effective Peer Workforce; 2) Cultural Competence: Becoming an Ally; 3) Trauma-informed Developmental Model of Supervision; and 4) Stigma…in Our Work and in Our Lives. Findings suggest trainings increase the value organizations give to peer work, which may help with peer worker retention.
