What is it about?

Apprenticeship learning or cooperative learning has been around for hundreds of years. This is an attempt to highlight its importance in and relevancy to learning in the digital era whilst preserving the skills nurtured by the masters of the trade.

Why is it important?

This study is important as more learners rely heavily on technology and seem to neglect the need to preserve the skills that have been handed down to them by the masters. Moreover, it will encourage the sense of community learning instead of learning in isolation that has been the practice of learners in the new millennium.

Perspectives

Apprenticeship learning does not entail learning physical skills. The concept can be argued from the perspectives of social and cognitive apprenticeship learning which can be acquired by learners within a supportive environment.
