Our findings suggest that living further (more than 441 meters) from a major road is associated with lower odds of asthma, but only among children unexposed to high levels of dust mite allergen. This suggests that reducing dust mite allergen exposure could enhance the benefits of reduced exposure to traffic-related air pollution.
