What is it about?

Tuberculosis control relies on novel diagnosis methods and the development of an appropriate vaccine. By studying the immune response, we can elucidate new targets for laboratory test development. Our study demonstrates that Mycobacterium tuberculosis lipids are able to activate mast cells and thus offer a new gateway for disease diagnostics.
