What is it about?
From Jean-Luc Marion’s examination of Gustave Courbet and his painting, it is shown how grief offers a model for the hermeneutics of love. This, in turn, makes possible a consideration of all phenomena as being saturated, delivering an excess over and beyond our concepts and categories.
