Why is it important?
Digital labor workers come in all shapes and sizes, from customer call centre workers, to pizza delivery drivers, to administrative, marketing. There are indications that a quarter of the global workforce will have some form of connection and income with digital platform work. How such work is regulated as regards terms and conditions, employment rights, aw and regulations, becomes societally important.
